Kuka KRC1 Test Plug

Robots are dangerous, use this test plug information entirely at your own risk!

These are specifications for a test plug, or shorting plug for Kuka robots with KRC1 cabinet.


Please note that this should only be used for test purposes.

Under no circumstances should a robot be run in Automatic mode without proper safety systems

that comply with local legislation. This will almost certainly include guarding, safety interlocks etc. Please

also consider that the robot may over balance and fall if it is not bolted down securely.

Connections are made on Connector X11

In addition set configure menu Ac/ to external and set move enable to 1025

1 to 2 27v to NA1 (Emerg. stop)
3 to 4 na1 to k1 em stop relay
5 to 6 ZS1 to k7 safety switch
7 to 8 27v to k3 safety switch
9 to 10? Channel 1 em stop circuit
11 to 12? Channel 1 safety circuit
19 to 20 27v to NA3
21 to 22 NA4 to k2 em stop relay
23 to 24
25 to 26
27 to 28? Channel 2 em stop circuit
29 to 30? Channel 2 safety circuit
37 to 40
41 to 42 External drives off
43 to 44 External drives on
